Inspiring prospective ELT undergraduate students: High school students visited our department

In an exciting outreach initiative, our department welcomed a group of eager students from Şehit Mustafa Yaman High School. The visit, which took place on March 5, 2024, provided a firsthand opportunity of the university experience. The high school students, accompanied by their teacher, embarked on a comprehensive tour of the department's facilities, including our classrooms and faculty offices. Academic staff at our department along with our head of department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Erdi Şimşek, met with the students to offer insights into their prospective educational journey and shared information regarding the opportunities that await at our university. This interaction allowed the students to ask questions and gain valuable advice on navigating future academic paths. One of the highlights of the day was the visit to the university’s renowned library, where the students were introduced to the vast resources available for academic and personal enrichment.
