About Course Registrations
Please follow the Course Registration Manual and take into consideration that some courses will be conducted online (colored blue).
Please be considerate about the following items:
Newly admitted students:
• Attend the English Prep Class Exemption Test on September 23-24. For details, visit: ydyo.bartin.edu.tr
• If you do not pass the exam, you will start taking Prep Classes.
• If you pass the exam, your course registrations will be done between September 27 - October 3.
First year students (who are already exempted from prep classes):
• Register your courses after reading this manual, find out who is your advisor from here and wait for Advisor Approvals by September 24.
• You will need to register at least the 10 courses listed here
• If you need to take any additional courses from upper years, you can use this list and please make sure that the days and hours of the courses do not overlap
• Further directions will be published on this website; therefore, make sure to check this webpage regularly
Second year students:
• Register your courses after reading this manual, find out who is your advisor from here and wait for Advisor Approvals by September 24.
• You will need to register at least the 9 courses listed here
• You will need to take one MBS, one GKS, and one IAS coded course.
• Since your courses can only be in English, you must take both of these courses: MBS-007 Drama in Education (Online), GKS-019 Oral Expression and Public Speaking (Face to Face)
and you must choose IAS-001 (Face to Face, Monday, 8:30-10:20, Classroom 225)
• If you need to take any additional courses from upper or previous years, you can use this list and please make sure that the days and hours of the courses do not overlap
• Further directions will be published on this website; therefore, make sure to check this webpage regularly
Third year students:
• Register your courses after reading this manual, find out who is your advisor from here and wait for Advisor Approvals by September 24.
• You will need to register at least the 8 courses listed here
• You will need to take one MBS and one IAS coded course, and one Non-Departmental Elective course.
• Since your courses can only be in English, you must take MBS-020 Individualizing and Adapting Teaching (Online) course
and IAS-007 New Approaches in English Language Teaching (Face to Face, Wednesday, 14:30-16:20, Classroom 206)
• You must take at least one Non-Departmental Elective course which you will be able to see on your course registration screen.
These courses cannot be in Turkish. Please note that you must take one of the Non-Departmental Elective courses.
• If you need to take any additional courses from upper or previous years, you can use this list and please make sure that the days and hours of the courses do not overlap
