Career Seminar: "Sectoral Expectations from the Teachers of the Future"

A career seminar was given by Güler Telli, the school principal at METU Development Foundation Private Kocaeli School on December 2, 2022 at 16:00. The seminar included a general view, values, characteristics, related to being a teacher, as well as details such as expectations and recommendations for being an English teacher. Students from all grades at the English Language BA program attended the seminar. The Zoom session started with the opening and introductive speech given by the head of our department Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu Şentürk. After the speech given by Güler Telli, a Q&A session was held with many questions asked by the ELT students at our department. Finally, the seminar was concluded with a certificate ceremony and the head of our department thanked Güler Telli for giving such a fruitful speech.
