“Enhancing Academic Writing Skills with Artificial Intelligence Tools”

On Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., Dr. Doğan Can Akçin, Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language Education, Faculty of Education, delivered an online in-service training titled “Enhancing Academic Writing Skills with AI Tools.” Open to all university staff, the session focused on how artificial intelligence-based tools can support the academic writing process, their potential contributions to developing writing skills, and the ethical considerations that must be observed when using such technologies. The training attracted considerable interest and was conducted via the Zoom platform.
