Practicum Preparation Meeting Held at BARU ELT

BARU ELT brought together preservice English teachers and faculty members on 23 September for a Practicum Preparation Meeting at the Faculty of Education.The session was chaired by Head of Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Erdi Şimşek, with the active participation of the department’s academic staff. The meeting aimed to guide preservice English teachers in their upcoming practicum experiences, offering insights into expectations, professional conduct, and effective classroom engagement. Staff members shared their perspectives on bridging theory and practice, emphasizing the importance of reflective teaching and collaboration with mentor teachers in schools. The session concluded with a Q&A, where students raised practical concerns and received feedback from faculty.
