Speak English Event

First year students at English Language Teaching program Sena Danışman, Abdurrahman Çaycı, Ahmet Hamdi Şen, Nisa Nur Dilber, Rüveyda Betül Asmacı, Seda İlman, Abdullah Koç, Sudenaz Taşatar, Gülistan Yazbaşı, and Hendekyanı Middle School 6th grade students got together at the "Speak English" event on December 10, 2019 at the Conference Room. 

Middle school students listened carefully to head of the Department of Foreign Language Education Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu Şentürk's speech and Asst. Prof. Dr. Erdi Şimşek's cognitive imaging activity which aimed to raise motivation towards English language. After the motivational activities, the students carried out speaking and writing events, danced and sang together. Middle school students also had the chance to meet and practice English with our visiting lecturer Sofia Santa Angeletti.
