Bartın University FLE Hosts DigiLTE Transnational Meeting
The DigiLTE Erasmus+ KA220 HED project partners, including Dr Fatma Badem and Research Assistant Betül Çimenli Olcars from our department, along with Dr Neslihan Köse from our faculty, came together in Bartın for an exciting collaboration!
Bartın University, a partner of the DigiLTE project, hosted the third transnational partner meeting on February 27–28 in Bartın, Türkiye. The meeting brought together project partners to review progress, discuss key developments, and plan upcoming activities.
On the first day, partners provided updates on Work Package 3 and discussed the materials for the upcoming MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). Suggestions were made regarding video content, subtitles, and introductory lectures on Conversation Analysis (CA) and Classroom Interactional Competence (CIC). Additionally, the scripts for the introductory MOOC videos were finalized.
In the afternoon, discussions focused on the icCALTE conference. The partners finalized the paper format and tested the submission system. The meeting also covered national dissemination events planned by project partners. Later, Arzu Kanat-Mutluoğlu from TED University delivered a presentation on H5P, an open-source tool for interactive learning materials, and demonstrated its application in the MOOC.
On the second day, discussions continued on the technical aspects of the MOOC. Participants worked in small groups to explore different H5P learning materials, testing their effectiveness and sharing feedback. The meeting concluded with the recording of introductory MOOC videos based on the finalized scripts.
