Language Talks #9 "Employability in ELT Outside Academia: Assessment and Publishing Industry" by Dr. Ayse Gur Geden

Organized and moderated by BARU English Language Society, the nineth session of Language Talks Webinar Series titled "Employability in ELT Outside Academia: Assessment and Publishing Industry" took place on May 8, 2024. Dr. Ayşe Gür Geden gave detailed information regarding employability and skills required in today's world. In her speech, Dr. Geden also gave details of some professions such assessment specialist or editor. The speech also included explanations about the soft and technical skills required in the fields with emphasis on the value of self-development and proactively seeking action and critical self-reflection. Undergraduate and graduate students at ELT also participated in the webinar by asking questions and writing their comments during the Zoom meeting.
