Course Exemption Procedures were Introduced to First Year Students

For the 2023-2024 Academic Year, on October 5, 2023, a verbal briefing was provided to the students of the English Language Teaching Bachelor's Program regarding the Recognition of Prior Learning for YDI-101 German I, YDI-102 German II, and ELT-109 English Structure courses. In this verbal briefing, which included general information on course exemptions and the recognition of prior learning (including letter grades, credit system, ECTS credits, and GPA), it was announced that students who wish to be exempt from YDI-101 and YDI-102 German courses can take the German Exemption Exam, prepared by Instructor Mehmet Ali BAŞARAN, on October 9 at 11:15 AM in Classroom 224.

Furthermore, it was also mentioned that students who wish to be exempt from the ELT-109 English Structure course can submit a petition along with documents showing their scores from exams such as YDS/YÖKDİL, and upon approval, they can be exempt from the course with a letter grade equivalent to their exam score.

In addition to this information session, documents that can be accessed by students who were unable to attend the meeting or those who want to revisit the information are shared on the faculty's website (egitim.bartin.edu.tr) and the department's website (fle.bartin.edu.tr) in the announcements and news section.
